Sussex Golf

flash00011.jpgToday Phil and Tiger are scheduled to tee it up at the 108th  U.S. Open Championship at Torrey Pines.  Tiger is the favorite to win the coveted national title, but Phil also has a good chance of taking home the hardware….what does all this mean?

It means that if you are a golfer today is the perfect day, highs in the 80s, to leave work early, schedule a tee time at one of our challenging local courses and have fun!  Personally, I would call Baywood Greens right now.  The course is in perfect condition and sets up nicely for anyone with a super slice like myself.  Another course of interest is The Rookery, located north of Lewes on Route 16.  The Rookery, managed by Chris Adkins, exemplifies customer service and is only $69 with a cart!  For those of you looking for a shorter golf experience, then stop by the Salt Pond in Bethany Beach.  The course is executive in nature, but that does not mean that your wedge game will not get a serious workout.

So, get out there and enjoy Coastal Sussex golf, and then head inside to your favorite watering hole to watch the pros!
