Coastal Concerts is focusing on cultural enrichment during the less busy times of year. Residents and visitors alike are welcomed and encouraged to support Coastal Concerts and enjoy the fine music.

Coastal Concerts has music education as one of its key goals. Coastal Concerts has established an annual scholarship for a student in music performance, education, or composition. The scholarship will be in the amount of $500. It is intended to defray expenses incident to the study of music including tuition, fees, and travel. Preferential consideration will be given to high school juniors or seniors in Sussex County who have been accepted by a music school program.

Coastal Concerts’ outreach program is designed to provide world-class live performances of classical music for all age groups. Concert admission is free at the door for youth 18 years and under and for one accompanying adult.

Ticket revenues cover about half the cost of presenting these concerts. Coastal Concerts is a volunteer non-prof it organization with 501(c)(3) status approved by the IRS. Donations and gifts are tax-deductible and will be recognized in the printed program. The generosity of contributors is vital for Coastal Concerts to continue its mission.
