Dewey : Learn to Skim!

by Dave on July 10, 2008

Skimboarding is an ancient art-form where man found a flat piece of wood and decided that is was a good idea to toss it into the outgoing waves.

The first few tosses he fell on his face. Lucky for us we have Alley OOP skim camp in Dewey Beach where the waves are first class and the partying second to none. Alley OOP was founded by Jason Wilson and Cory Mahoney several years ago when skimboarding was just starting to break through the extreme sport bubble.

Now, skimboarding is one of the most popular and challenging sports for kids of all ages along Delaware’s resort beaches and state parks.

For more information on the Alley OOP shop, skim camps and the DE breaks call 302-227-7087 or visit Alley Oop’s CoastalSussex page.
