Well, there are only a few more Saturdays remaining in August to enjoy the Delaware Beaches.  Before we know it our good friends from the north, Canadian and Snow Geese, will be flying from the tidal marshes in the morning to the freshly harvested corn fields.

So, what to do on a 80 degree sunny day?  First, try visiting Delaware Seashore State Park where the waves are supposed to be 2-4 feet, perfect for boogie boarding and maybe even surfing.  Second, if the kids prefer pools to beaches stop by Jungle Jim’s Water Park on Route 1.  Jungle Jim’s Park is the area’s only water park where adults and kids can enjoy water slides, a lazy river, and numerous amusement type rides.  Lastly, I would take a drive west on Route 9 to The Hopkin’s Farm Creamery.  Burli and Christine Hopkins opended the ice cream parlor on July 4th and have been busy ever since.
