Rehoboth Goes All Wood

by Dave on February 22, 2009

The City of Rehoboth has decided to go all wood as they replace the boardwalk. The block-wide concrete slab at Rehoboth Avenue will be replaced by southern yellow pine boards, as part of a multimillion dollar renovation project, boosted by funds from the recently passed stimulus bill.

As part of the demands of the stimulus package, the project will commence during the summer months, though the city has committed to focusing on the residential southern end of the boardwalk until October.
