What a great 24 hours for Coastal Sussex!

I’m so happy that people find the magazine informative and entertaining (and fun to play with). The feedback has been great. I’m more excited to do the second one than I was the first!

After all of the late nights this week putting the magazine together, I got a chance to kick back last night and go see “Beer Wars Live” in Wilmington. The theater was filled with a busload from Dogfish Head and a smattering of homebrewers, local beer distributors, and beer fans of all types.

The movie was great. A little rough at first when director Anat Baron lost her place on the cue cards during the live introduction, but the movie itself told the tale exquisitely, including about 1/3 of the movie about our own Sam Calagione of Dogfish Head. Included in that were idyllic shots of farm fields along Rt. 30 north of Milton and shots of Sam at the beach and at his Lewes home.

If you missed it, you missed out.
