Simply a must for all summer visitors to the Delaware beaches, Jungle Jim’s is an all-purpose amusement park just outside of Rehoboth Beach that has it all:  go-karts, bumper boats, mini golf and an enormous waterpark.

There are five go-kart tracks: The Crocodile Mile is an oval track, with banked turns and long straight-aways; the Python slick track is a winding road course with very slick corners; the Family Safari has two seater karts so children too young to drive can ride along with an adult and share the experience of Jungle Jim’s longest go-kart track; the Cheetah track is for children 8-12 years old; and the Kitty Track has five electric go-karts for young drivers to operate.

The bumper boats (5 and up)each have their own water gun so you can squirt your friends, while trying to bump them under the mushroom waterfall in the middle of the pond.

The surprisingly challenging mini-golf course, even for some seasoned golfers, features sand and water features and some interesting tricks along the way.

The big attraction of Jungle Jims, however, is the oversized waterpark, which contains a lazy river, rope climb, wave pool, activity pool, kid’s area and four large, twisting waterslides. In 2008, they added a kids “sprayground,” which includes a large container two stories up that dumps water over the swimmers below.

All in all, Jungle Jim’s is a great day out for kids of all ages here at the Delaware Beaches.
