“Trash Talk,” Fisher Bay Highlight Saturday’s Market

“Trash Talk” with City Council member Ted Becker and local woodworker Darryl DuBre and a cooking demonstration by Rich Nofi of Fisher Bay Gourmet will be the featured events at the Historic Lewes Farmer’s Market on Saturday, July 25th. Details below:

July 25th Market to feature “Trash Talk” with City Council member Ted Becker and local woodworker Darryl DuBre. Ted and Darryl will be available to discuss the what and how and why of single stream recycling! This “Trash Talk” was so popular last year that we are doing a sequel. Starting at 9 am, Ted and Darryl will answer all your questions and concerns.

At 10 am, Rich Nofi of Fisher Bay Gourmet will demonstrate his cooking skills using fresh ingredients from the Market. Rich has catered events large and small, from privately cooked dinners at clients’ homes to lunches for the White House Press Corps. Fisher Bay is a high-end delicatessen and caterer in conjunction with a gourmet grocery store with a franchise look and neighborhood feel located in the Villages of Five Points in Lewes.

This week, Children’s Librarian Maureen Miller will read Oliver’s Vegetables by Vivian French promptly at 9 am in the School House.
