Restaurant Row – Nage

by Dave on August 22, 2009

No nonsense. Taste-based. Creative. All terms that help describe award-winning Chef Kevin Reading’s Nage Restaurant in Rehoboth Beach. A new wine bar and private dining room added in the summer of 2008 boosted the restaurant’s seating to over 100, and this ‘local’s favorite’ brings serious cuisine to please all palates.

Dinner at Nage begins with starters like White Asparagus Soup or
Truffled Mac and Cheese and accelerates from there to main dishes like the Duo of Lamb (rack of lamb & lamb breast, white bean & eggplant puree, tomato jam) and the Artichoke & Lemon Risotto. Also available is the Prime Rib Burger, Food Network’s ‘Best Burger in Delaware.’

Chef/Owner Reading is a strong proponent of using local, fresh produce, and Nage hosts Farm to Table dinners every Thursday in the summer, where Nage brings in a local grower to talk about their growing philosophy and their produce.

Another highlight at Nage is the Sunday Seafood Supper with $20 boiled lobster and $17 Clambake Pots, starting at 5pm.
