Beebe, SoDel Concepts Support United Way

The following businesses made recent check presentations to United Way of Delaware:

SoDel Concepts

Sussex County restaurateur SoDel Concepts held a series of fundraisers to benefit United Way of Delaware’s (UWD) Community Impact Fund. Food and drink proceeds totaling $600.00 from SoDel restaurants Fish On in Lewes and Lupo di Mare in Rehoboth were presented last week to UWD leaders.

Molly King, Event Coordinator, and Matt Haley, Chef/Owner, for SoDel Concepts; Ted Becker, local businessman and Lewes councilman, and 2009/2010 UWD Campaign Chair for Kent and Sussex counties; and Michael Shockley, UWD Community Relations Associate for Sussex County.

Beebe Medical Center

The generous employees of Beebe Medical Center (BMC) donated $16,747 to UWD’s annual fundraising campaign in recent months. Beebe leaders joined with UWD last week to present a donation check to help individuals and families in need throughout Sussex County.
