MSO’s ‘Keep The Music Playing’ Campaign Underway

by Dave on April 27, 2010

From the Mid-Atlantic Symphony Orchestra:

Over the past 13 years, the Mid-Atlantic Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Maestro Julien Benichou, has grown from an annual concert in one venue to a regularly scheduled series of concerts in three locations (Easton, Ocean Pines, and Ocean View). The audiences also have increased in numbers and enthusiasm.

Each year, in the spring, the MSO conducts an annual Fund Raising Campaign. This year the campaign is titled “Bravo Maestro” to honor Music Director Julien Benichou and the wonderful programs he created for the enjoyment of the audiences on the Delmarva Peninsula. As an added incentive, Maestro Benichou has offered a one week stay at his 18th century home in France, between Provence and Languedoc, as a “Thank You” gift. In addition to this generous offer, for a donation of $100, there are also some other very special “Thank You” gifts for example Two Thousand dollars ($2000) in cash; or $300.00 towards any of the products or services of the MSO program advertisers; or a two-night stay in New York City at the Marriott Financial Center, plus two round trip Amtrak tickets from Wilmington, DE; or an Atlantic Ocean Fishing Trip for three people on the Morning Star with Capt. Monty Hawkins; or two 2010-2011 MSO season subscriptions.

Revenue from concert tickets and generous contributions and donations from sponsors, grantors, program advertisers and patrons help to defray some of the expenses, however to “Keep the Music Playing” on Delmarva and to realize the MSO’s ambitious goals for the next season, the MSO invites you to participate in this campaign and be eligible for the “Thank You” drawing to be held June 9, 2010 at the Mid-Atlantic Symphony Orchestra Society’s annual meeting. To participate in this very worthy and important Fund Raiser just call 1-888-846-8600. If you wish you may make your donation by credit card or by sending a check made payable to “MSO” to Mid-Atlantic Symphony Orchestra, Bravo Maestro Campaign, P.O. Box 3687, Ocean City, MD 21843. You will receive a “Thank you” note and acknowledgement of your donation by return mail. More information is available at www.midatlanticsympony.org. Help us to “Keep the Music Playing” and say “Bravo Maestro” for this wonderful music.
