The public is invited to the opening from 5 to 7 pm on Saturday. Pianist Aimee Wiest will entertain with songs of the sea.

Noted Annapolis photographer Celia Pearson, whose photographs in the book Pure Sea Glass have drawn praise from art collectors and sea glass lovers alike, is exhibiting new fine art sea glass photographs at the Packard Reath Gallery for a special show in conjunction with the Sea Glass Festival being held in Lewes. The exhibit Glass Transformed will be at the Gallery from June 26th through July 30th. The exhibit will also feature Nancy LaMotte’s custom sea glass jewelry, designed with untouched glass collected from beaches throughout the area.

Pearson’s photographs have been shown in galleries in Maryland, Massachusetts, Florida and Washington, DC. An established assignment photographer, Pearson’s photographs have been published in national and regional magazines such as Metropolitan Home, Coastal Living, Chesapeake Life, Southern Accents and Style Magazine.

LaMotte braceletRichard LaMotte, author of Pure Sea Glass, and his wife Nancy have combed the beaches of the world in search of sea glass which Nancy uses to create her original silver jewelry. Nancy LaMotte’s jewelry is classic and timeless in style and each piece is hand crafted in silver and gold.

This is the third show that Pearson has done at the Packard Reath Gallery and Nancy LaMotte’s third visit to the Gallery as well. “We are thrilled to welcome these talented ladies back to Lewes with such exciting new work”, says co-owner Dinah Reath.
