Dewey Beach Town Council Meeting on Saturday

There have been some agenda amendments for tomorrow’s meeting. They are:

* Remove Item 4 Discuss and possibly approve an Ordinance regarding clarification of the intended meaning of “relaxed bulk standards,” as that phrase is used in the Town of Dewey Beach 2007 Comprehensive Plan.
* Remove Item 5 Discuss and possibly approve an increase in the Town’s donation to the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Department.
* Remove Item 6 Discuss and possibly approve a Mission, Vision, and Values Statement for the Town of Dewey Beach

The Dewey Beach Town Council will meet on Saturday, August 21 at 6pm.

Among the items on the agenda:

1. Discuss and possibly approve audited financial statements for FY 09/10 (6:45 P.M.)

2. Discuss and vote on appointment of one (1) Election Official. (6:55 P.M.)

3. Discuss and vote on the appointment of two (2) members to the Board of Elections. (7:05 P.M.)

4. Discuss and possibly approve an Ordinance regarding clarification of the intended meaning of “relaxed bulk standards,” as that phrase is used in the Town of Dewey Beach 2007 Comprehensive Plan. (7:20 P.M.)

5. Discuss and possibly approve an increase in the Town’s donation to the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Department. (7:30 P.M.)

6. Discuss and possibly approve a Mission, Vision, and Values Statement for the Town of Dewey Beach. (7:40 P.M.)

7. Discussion regarding right-of-way recommendations from Planning & Zoning. (7:50 P.M.)

8. Discussion regarding moratorium on providing additional square footage for the purpose of serving alcohol at licensed establishments. (8:00 P.M.)

9. Discussion regarding Commissioner Conduct. (8:15 P.M.)

10. Discuss and possibly approve changes to the Gaming Ordinance. (8:45 P.M.)

11. Discuss and vote on amending the minutes of the June 11, June 4, May 31, May 8, and March 13, 2010 meetings to clarify that during each meeting a motion to move into executive session was made and adopted in a public vote, and to clarify that during each meeting a motion to move out of executive session was made and adopted in a public vote, and to clarify that the executive sessions were conducted for a strategy sessions involving legal advice or opinion from an attorney-at-law with respect to pending or potential litigation.
