State Police Investigate Robbery in WaWa Parking Lot

Delaware State Police early Wednesday morning responded to the WAWA convenience store located at 17663 Dartmouth Drive Lewes, Delaware around 4:07 a.m.

State Troopers upon speaking with the victims learned that as they were exiting the WAWA they observed three teenage white males removing items from the victim’s vehicle.

The two victims confronted the suspects at which time one of the suspects displayed brass knuckles and a physical altercation ensued. During the altercation the victims were robbed of a wallet and Blackberry cellular phone valued at approximately $530.00. The victims were not injured during the robbery.

The suspects fled the parking lot in white sport utility vehicle unknown make or model. Delaware State Police is asking citizens who have information concerning this robbery to contact police.
