RBDBCC Legislative Candidates’ Forum Rescheduled for October 20

The Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce Legislative Candidates’ Forum has been rescheduled for Wednesday, October 20, 2010. The forum will take place at 1:00 P.M in the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center in Rehoboth Beach, DE. This forum is open to the public at no charge.

Dennis Forney, publisher for the Cape Gazette, will be moderating the forum and Bill Klemkowski, owner of Jake’s Seafood House and Chairman of the Board for RBDBCC, will be the timekeeper.

The following procedures will be in effect for the Candidates’ Forum:
o Candidates will be presented in alphabetical order.
o Candidates will be allowed a one (1) minute self-introduction.
o Introductions will be followed by three (3) questions prepared by RBDBCC and unknown to the candidates. Candidates will be allowed one (1) minute per question for response.
o A 30 minute Question & Answer session will close the forum.
o Questions taken from the floor may be no longer than (1) one minute in length and must be directed to candidates running in opposition for the same office.
o Each of the opposing candidates of the questioned office will be allowed a one (1) minute response for the question from the floor.
o A timekeeper will be on duty to enforce the rules and the moderator will end the forum, at the end of one hour and thirty minutes from start time.
