Farleigh Dickinson University’s PublicMind today released poll numbers on several statewide races for the 2010 elections. The poll found former Lt. Governor John Carney (D-Wilmingt0n) and State Auditor Tom Wagner (R-Dover) with comfortable leads, and found a tight race for State Treasurer between State Sen. Colin Bonini (R-Dover) and attorney Chip Flowers (D-Middletown).

In the race for Congress, Carney leads Rehoboth Beach businessman Glen Urquhart by a margin of 51%-36%. Carney runs even with Urquhart in Kent and Sussex counties (43%-43%), while enjoying a commanding 56%-32% lead in New Castle County.

Wagner leads challenger Richard Korn by a margin of 46%-31%, with strength coming from his 55%-24% margin in the lower part of the state.

In the race for Treasurer, the candidates are tied at 38%, with 21% unsure. Flowers’ lead in New Castle County (41%-34%) mirrors Bonini’s lead downstate (44%-33%).
