State Police Probe Construction Site Burglary

Police are investigating a Lewes area burglary at a construction site on West Angola Road that occurred over the weekend between Saturday October 9th and Sunday October 10, 2010.

Unknown suspects entered the construction site and removed a lock from a construction trailer. Once the suspects gained access to the trailer they removed a green Wacker brand ground tamp model# 610, a gray and orange Bell brand ground tamp, a gray David White brand transit, tan and black Berger brand site level, a yellow and black Dewalt 18 volt rotary laser, and Dewalt impact wrenches.

The estimated value of the items taken totaled over $6,400.00 dollars.

Delaware State Police are seeking the public’s assistance in obtaining information regarding this burglary. Citizens are asked to contact Delaware State Police with any information.
