dnc_logo1.gifPlanning a beach retreat this weekend?

Consider visiting the DuPont Nature Center on Route 36 west of Milford heading to Slaughter Beach. This small, yet easily accessible visitor center offers world class views of migratory shorebirds, including the Red Knott which is a bird watchers favorite.  At this time of year you will also get a special treat, observing horseshoe crabs.  Be on the lookout for pairs mating in the surf or along the waters edge.

June 26, 2007 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

A “Clear into the Future”Lecture Series discussing the symbiotic relationship of shore birds and horseshoe crabs. Special guests include Jean Woods, Glenn Gauvry, Stewart Michels and Kevin Kalaz
