Notorious Wilmington Restaurant opens a Sussex County location !

Ok all you Wilmington, South Philly, Jerseyites and Italian food lovers, the wait is over. For years I’ve heard from many of our Italian friends and neighbors how they just can’t find a restaurant in Sussex County that serves homemade pasta with a great sauce (or umm….is it gravy?).

Well the wait is over. The notorious Attilio's from Lancaster Avenue in Wilmington has now opened a second location in Sussex County. Attilio's Cafe' on the Bay opened for business on Saturday, June 14th to a busy dinner time crowd. Owners "T" and Carla, who are brother and sister have brought their famous Italian culinary experience down to the beach for all to enjoy. Their new location is at 32768 Oak Orchard Road, Millsboro, DE. (302) 945-4533. This wonderful dining establishment was the former "WhiteCaps" and has been remodeled with a nice clean and classy look.

Our family dined there for a Father' Day delight and enjoyed Ravioli w/meatball, Linguine w/sausage sauce and Spaghetti w/meat sauce.....all homemade pasta. Portions were a generous size and of course delicious. The minute we put our first fork full in our mouths we all gave a ummmmm....then said "this was certainly worth the wait all these years" !

Although many of the original Attilio's Restaurant entrees are on the menu, currently to our disappointment, the "Fried Hot Peppers" are not. Still a very enjoyable Italian Culinary experience that you don't want to pass up.
