Last Free Rehoboth Historical Tour September 3

Natalie Becker leads visiors through the Anna Hazzard house on a tour describing Rehoboth Beach's early days.

The Rehoboth Beach Museum is offering this season’s last free tour of the Anna Hazzard House and the Rehoboth Beach Museum at 9 a.m. on Friday, September 3, 2010. The tour begins at the Anna Hazzard house at 17 Christian Street where free on-street parking is available before ten a.m. The tour then continues at the Rehoboth Beach Museum at 511 Rehoboth Avenue, where patrons can also park for free. Docents Natalie Becker and Harvey Waltersdorf lead the tours with information about Rehoboth Beach’s early days and personal memories of the beach in days gone by. Additional information is provided about the Avery’s Rest archaeological exhibit. The tour is limited to 12 so make your reservations early.
